Greek proverb: χελώνας ἐσθίετε

Here's a saying from Apostolius, C4.45, with a Latin version from Clavis Homerica. The image is of the god Hermes/Mercury at Wikipedia. Here are some more Apostolius proverbs. The words allude to the fable of Mercury and the Fishermen.

Αὐτοὶ χελώνας ἐσθίετε.
Ipsi testudines edite.
Eat the turtles yourselves.
